Telangana Film Chamber of Commerce‘s press meet about Tak Jagdish was releasing on the same day (on OTT) as the love story ended how it should not be. Some of the exhibitors speaking at the press meet lost their cool and started attacking Nani for Tuck Jagdish.
Tuck Jagdish OTT release is an issue related to the makers and Nani cannot stop them till a limit is reached with so much uncertainty around. Exactly the same thing happened with Tuck Jagdish.
If there is any actor who has spoken openly in support of theatres, it is Nani himself. There was no one to blame for a star producer like Suresh Babu when he decided to drop Narappa on OTT. But criticizing Nani for the same, even though he is not the producer of the film, is not right. This selective criticism indicates that a star protagonist and producer from a large family are exceptions from being blamed for OTT releases, whereas a protagonist without a background is not.
These are situations that need to be handled on an issue basis, but targeting a man whose genuine desire was to release his film in theatres, is wildly unfair. Everyone from big to small heroes played a safe role on issues like ticket prices, only Nani talked about it.
Coming to the actual topic, neither the manufacturer nor the chamber has any right on this issue, the agreement has been signed and now, Tuck Jagdish belongs to Amazon. They will decide when to be released keeping in mind their commercial interests.
