Tollywood actorChiranjeevi Konidela has resumed the new shooting schedule of his upcoming film Godfather in Ooty. Director Mohan Raja is directing this Telugu remake of Malayalam superhitLucifer in which Mohanlal was in the lead role. A new shooting schedule started in Ooty on Wednesday and the team will be shooting for a talkie part with Chiranjeevi and other lead actors. The title and pre-look of the film was recently released on Chiranjeevi’s birthday, which sees him in a retro avatar. The response for the same has been overwhelming as the star will be seen in a powerful role in the film.
The Godfather will be a highly intense political action drama that will be replaced with a Chiranjeevi-like original. The shooting of the film began in Hyderabad last month, with a powerful action sequence packed with the lead actor. Godfather will see music by Thaman S, cinematography by Nirav Shah and art direction by Suresh Selvarajan. RB Choudhary and NV Prasad are producing the flick, Konidela Surekha is the presenter.
