The grand pre-release event of Sekhar Kammula’s Love Story took place on Sunday evening and it turned out to be a star-studded one.
Aamir Khan and Chiranjeevi were the chief guests at the program of the film to hit the screens on September 24. The entire team seemed confident about the success of the film, which is finally hitting the screens after being postponed several times. Megastars Chiranjeevi and Sai Pallavi became one of the highlights of the evening, with dancers shaking a leg at Khaidi No 150 in Ammadu Let’s Do Kumudu. Chiranjeevi also said that he is looking forward to sharing screen-space with him someday. “Ever since I saw him dancing on Vachinde, I am shocked,” he said.
He also addressed the issues that plague the Telugu film industry after two waves of Covid-19. “The film industry always reacts first when natural calamities strike and shows its support. Now that the film industry is facing some difficulty, I urge the government of both the states to consider our requests and help us come out of the crisis. Lakhs of people are dependent on the industry and I urge them to pass the mandate in our favor.”
Aamir Khan confesses that he loved the trailer of Love Story; He invited himself to the event. “When I saw it, I wanted to meet the team and talk to the parents and fans of Chai. So I invited myself to do the same here today. I worked with them for Laal Singh Chaddha And he is not only an amazing co-star but also humble. I am also impressed by Sai Pallavi’s dance, she is extremely talented. My best wishes to the entire team.”
Thanking him, Naga Chaitanya said, “We are all honored by your presence and glad that you are here. Love Story will be a special film of my career and I thank Shekhar Kammula for taking me out of my comfort zone.” The film will address two major social issues and now the time has come to address them. It was not easy to act with Sai Pallavi, who is an asset to the film.”
Pawan Cha has composed the tunes for Love Story and the character of Naga Chaitanya will be called Revanth while Sai Pallavi will be called Maunika. He plays a Zumba instructor, while she plays a girl looking for an IT job.
