Everyone is troubled by the amendment in the Motor Vehicle Act and changes in the traffic rules. It is also difficult to guess what the police will cut the challan. Because, most of the people are not aware of the rules. That’s why it is important to be aware of traffic rules. Do you know that a rule of the new Motor Vehicle Act also says that even after deducting the challan, your challan can be canceled by paying only Rs 100. Yes, that is absolutely correct. The traffic police have the right to do so and there is also a big relief for the motor vehicle driver.

Invoice can be canceled for Rs 100

Keep the documents of your scooter, bike, car and other vehicles complete. On completion of the paper, your challan will not be deducted. But, if for some reason you do not have the documents, then there is no need to panic. All your challan will be canceled in just 100 rupees. Generally, driving license, vehicle registration certificate (RC), insurance and pollution certificate are necessary for any vehicle. But if you forget any one of these papers while leaving the house, then your challan will be deducted. But, here the rule of 100 rupees applies.

Papers to be submitted in 15 days

During checking, if any of your documents or all the documents are missing, then do not panic. You can claim to the traffic police that your papers are complete. In such a situation, the traffic police will challan you. But, within 15 days of deducting the challan, you have to go to the zonal office of the traffic police and show your complete documents. If you submit the challan with full documents, then the traffic police has the right to cancel your challan. However, here you have to pay a fine of Rs 100 because you did not have the documents on the spot.

What to pay attention to?

Keep in mind that if there is no document, then do not lie about it. Because, your documents will be considered only if your documents are valid till the date of deducting the challan. If any document is made after the date of deducting the challan, then it will be declared invalid and in the absence of documents on the spot, the full payment of the challan which is deducted will have to be paid.

What is the new circular?

The government has recently issued a new circular regarding the Motor Vehicle Act. If you do not have the documents of the vehicle. After this the traffic police will not deduct your challan. The traffic police will verify your documents on their device.
