- How much it cost – Budget can be a crucial thing to keep in mind before you buy a laptop. There are a large variety of brands which will provide you with the laptop with the features you want in your budget, opt for them only. But if you are lenient with the price range just look for whatever features you want.

Picking the right platform –
Most of the laptops available now a days are based on one of the three operating systems-windows, MacOS and ChromeOs which are fine for any activity like gaming , studies ,office etc. But if you are buying a laptop for programming then choosing linux or ubuntu over others can help.
- Choose the correct specifications –Processors, memory space, RAM, Graphics card should all be taken in note.
Processor– it shows a great influence on the performance .If you have a tight budget an intel core i5 processor is fine for any purpose but with your budget you can go with advanced versions. AMD processors are also high performance processors.
RAM– most budget laptops come with a 4GB ram but at least 8GB and if affordable 16 GB gives better performance.
Memory Space– an HDD of 1TB is a good to go storage space but a 256GB SSD is a faster one in performance. So go for a laptop with a SSD and expandable memory space where you can add external hard disk if you need more space.
Graphics card– an integrated graphics card is enough if you are not into playing games or graphic designing or editing high resolution videos. But if you are into all the above just go for a discrete graphics processor from AMD or Nividia.
