This house has 4 bedrooms, a kitchen, a library and a meditation room. It took 3 years to build the house. This Taj Mahal-like house also has minarets like the original Taj Mahal. The floor of the house has been made from Makrana of Rajasthan and the furniture has been prepared by the artisans of Mumbai. Not only this, lighting has been done inside and outside the house in such a way that even in the dark of night, this house looks like the real Taj Mahal. The help of artists from Bengal and Indore was taken for the carving.
Mumtaz died in Burhanpur itself
Actually, Anand Chokse, a resident of Burhanpur, was always concerned about why the Taj Mahal, which is famous as a symbol of love all over the world, is not in his city Burhanpur. Let us tell you that there is a mention in Mughal history that Shah Jahan’s wife Mumtaz died in Burhanpur and Shah Jahan chose the banks of the Tapti river to build the Taj Mahal. However, later the Taj Mahal was built in Agra. Now to remove this stigma, Anand Choksey gifted his wife by building a house similar to the Taj Mahal.
Engineers had to work hard
The engineer who built a house like Taj Mahal said that there were many obstacles in the construction of a house like Taj Mahal. This is because, for this he had to study the real Taj Mahal closely.
In a house like Taj Mahal, the Dome has been kept 29 feet high. It has a big hall, 2 bedrooms downstairs, 2 bedrooms upstairs. A kitchen, a library and a meditation room have also been built in it. The help of artists from Bengal and Indore have been taken for the carving done inside the house.
This house has got the award of Indian Constructing Ultratech Out Standing Structure of MP.
