Delhi Electric Vehicle Portal: In the capital of the country, now the solution of any problem related to electric vehicle will be very easy. The Delhi government has launched a portal to provide all the information on Electric Vehicles (EV) on a single platform.
Consumers will get all the information
Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot said in the launch event that the government has launched https://ev.Delhi.Gov.In/ portal. Here users include information about the EV model available in the market, savings and charging facility etc.
Gehlot said, “This new website will provide all the necessary information to the potential EV consumers. Along with this, it gives information about the sales and charging infrastructure etc.”
On this portal, it also provides information about the location of charging stations and guidelines for chargers to the people. At present there are 377 charging points at 170 locations in Delhi, whose number is increasing continuously. According to a statement issued by the Transport Department, the website will also provide real-time updated data to the users.

The portal also includes an ‘EV Calculator’ which gives an estimate of the fuel savings by a specific EV as compared to its conventional vehicle counterpart.
“It enables consumers to make a rational choice and identify cost reduction,” Gehlot said.
Apart from the price, brand and range provided by EVs to the consumers on this portal, the dashboard of the portal also provides updates on the EV ecosystem of Delhi, including real time sales and uptake data.
There is also a Feedback and Complaint section on the website where stakeholders can give their suggestions.
