- First of all, open WhatsApp and click on the three dots appearing in the top corner.
- After this, you have to go to Settings and tap on Account.
- By going to Privacy in the account, you have to click on the Group option.
- Here you will get three options – Everyone, My Contacts and My Contacts Except.
- In these three options, according to your convenience, you can decide who can add you to any WhatsApp group.
How to Mute WhatsApp Groups

In such a situation, the messages coming in these groups disturb you unnecessarily. We can also mute such messages (Mute WhatsApp Group). For this also you have to make some changes in the settings.
- To mute messages in WhatsApp groups, you first have to open the group that you want to mute.
- After this, by clicking on the three dots in your top right side, you have to click on Mute Notifications.
- After this you will get three options 8 Week, 1 Week and Always.
